Falls High

Our Mission

We, the staff of Falls High School, operate under the belief that for quality education to occur, there must be balanced cooperation between the school, parent, student, and community. Without any one of these components in active participation, quality education will be sacrificed.

A Letter from Our Principal

Principal Lisa West

Welcome to Falls High School, the home of the Broncos!

Thank you for choosing us!  Falls High School has a long standing tradition of excellence and pride in both academics, activities and athletics. Our current students continue to carry on this tradition. Our scholars and athletes participate in activities across the state and reach great levels of achievement.

We are a grade 6-12 building with an enrollment of approximately 500 students. We also have an Alternative Learning Center as part of our path to graduation. Falls High School offers both academic and co-curricular opportunities in a safe and caring environment. We truly care about our students and work to show them this each day. We are a PBIS school which focuses on BRONCO POWER as we reinforce what a healthy school community looks like in action.

The middle school as well as high school “experience” is a special time in a student's life. Our goal at Falls High School is to ensure that a variety of academics, activities, athletics, support services and social opportunities are available for all students to explore and enjoy.  Our talented staff is always seeking ways to support students in their growth and development within an equitable and inclusive learning environment.

At Falls High School, we offer a wide range of course offerings. We offer courses for students headed to the workforce, technical training, and four year universities. Students are able to earn college credit in numerous disciplines to help prepare them for post-secondary education and the workforce. We currently partner with the following post-secondary institutions: Bemidji State University, Lake Superior College, and  Minnesota North.  We are constantly seeking to create new learning opportunities for our students as well as career exploration involving local and regional industry.

These are just a few of the many offerings we provide:

~family and consumer science labs where students create food and textile projects

~woods and metals shops including carpentry and welding courses

~Spanish language and cultural studies

~Ojibwe language courses, cultural studies, language round table discussions, tutoring and Ojibwe   Quiz Bowl
